The location for access to the V&A was quite good. The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill, so if walking, it can be a bit of a challenge in the heat and certainly if you are of limited mobility. The staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Some extras like afternoon cake and drinks were a nice gesture, The hotel has a driver that you can book to take you to restaurants or wherever. It is paid for through your room bill. The room was pleasant. We had one on the top floor with sea views. There was a small balcony just large enough for sitting. The breakfasts were good.

Highly, highly, highly recommend. The staff was amazing - particularly Sheila and Elton who were tremendously helpful arranging dinner reservations and travel to/from the hotel. Whether it was their recommendation or a special request, they just made it happen. Peter was an excellent driver and was super helpful, taking us early in the morning, and picking us up late in the evening. Loved the breakfast and the dining area, the food was great! The room was very nice, turndown service was great.

The included breakfast was very nice and catered to all. Hotel was quiet. There was always someone on front desk all night - Phiwe had the week we were there and was always very attentive. The welcome was fabulous, all the staff were brilliant, always so friendly and helpful. we are vegan and they went out of their way everyday to make sure we had options for breakfast. A very good location close to restaurants, bars, the waterfront etc, but set back enough to be quiet and peaceful. Everywhere was so accessible from here. We were so sad to leave.
